Welcome to RDI
Rich Dads Invest is the product of two dads that have made it their mission to help others in finance and teach the next generation the important topics of finance, family and responsibility. Throughout this site you should find several places that strike your interest. We have a working Blog, Google Drive for some sweet recommendations and files, course work and examples of finance 101 topics and more! We simply want to teach others how to handle household finances as well as make money outside of your professional career. With a Finance background and a Physics background, we hope to offer a service that is a refreshing approach to the saturated field of finance gurus and give the kids and discriminating investors alike, a change of pace and a new place to check for posts every day!
We can teach your how to make a budget (mostly we want to show you how to track your expenditures). We will then step it up a notch and show you what kind of simple tools you can use to help make that happen. We will assess some real world examples of how taxes work, a retirement case study, challenge a few insurance ideas and deliver on the promise of a strong foundation of fundamentals. We have some super cool excel things to show you and to even share!
Grant and I will take you through the basics of what the market is, how to choose stocks, how navigate financial products and news that all effect the way traditional investments are valued. We will have advanced topics on quantitative analysis, pattern signals and even derivatives. This will be a MASSIVE project as we grow, but it is exciting because the landscape is changing. We now have crypto currencies, the threat of a central bank digital currency, art as a viable investment for the regular person and the most viable time to own physical gold and silver. From an example portfolio distribution, the dividend game, to some advanced 401k, IRA options, we will get you hooked on a vast world with opportunity.
Each week we will have an update that will be a collection of important news, super cool things to learn, some investment ideas (unfortunately it’s not officially advice), and the things that peak our interest as Fathers and Investors. We are on a mission to give our kids financial education in the prime of their imagination and learning capabilities. We want to promote business and family practices that give them a great leg up into the future, we will cover many topics but catered to the kiddos! Our children will be part of the "focus group" that approves these messages and the activities that we present.

Grant brings a full suite of finance experience and Travis supports these topics with his background in Physics and Engineering. Please subscribe to our blog posts and stay in the know! We employ both self created tools and 3rd party tools to deliver the financial education that our K-12 school system failed to give us. At the heart of this we at RDI have been changed by fatherhood and have been given a mission to teach our children the fundamentals of finance and, obviously, teach about morals, virtue, respect, self esteem and simply believing in themselves.
